Sea Bright Library Grand Opening
Sea Bright - With shelves brimming with books to read and desks filled with computers to use and a staff of happy librarians ready to help, many residents of Sea Bright came out to celebrate the official grand re-opening of the new Sea Bright Library & Cultural Art Center. Mayor Dina Long, Council President Marc Leckstein and several councilmen as well as fire and police were in attendence for the ribbon cutting ceremony with members of the community recalling how the original Sea Bright Library came to be formed and how it had grown over the years. After Hurricane Sandy left the old library devastated from flooding in 2012, a temporarily one had been set up at the Sea Bright Methodist Church until construction of a new library could be completed. With a beautiful new location right on the beachfront, the library staff look forward to continuing their mission for generations to come.
