Fair Haven Halloween Parade 2018
Fair Haven - On October 21, 2018 Fair Haven held their annual Halloween Egg Hunt and Parade. Children gathered at Sportsmans Field, across from Knollwood School, to take part in an egg hunt before lining up for the parade. With sirens blaring and lights flashing the parade was led down Navesink River Road by local police, fire, and emt vehicles that all threw candy out to eager paradegoers. Once parade participants reached the Fair Haven Fire House, they were treated to cider, hot chocolate, and delicious donuts. Mayor Benjamin Lucarelli greeted those in attendance and announced winners of the costume contest for different age groups. Between the candy handed out and the awesome costumes seen at the parade, all can agree that it was a "sweet" time!
