Spreading Joy in Dark Times

Shrewsbury - With the state under Governor Murphy’s “Stay at Home” order in order to battle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, towns have had to get creative with ways to celebrate holidays while still maintaining social distancing protocols. One solution utilized by several municipalities in the Two River area has been to have the Easter Bunny roam thru the town in a motorcade escorted by either police or the fire department. Families can then see the Easter Bunny from a safe distance as he spreads a bit of joy during this difficult time. See photos from Shrewsbury Borough’s Easter Bunny Parade below.
